Im doing more research and finding outmore about traiing dogs, and the stuff I come across is pretty amazing. One of the recent things I found about regarding traiining, is that you can get a training collar for your dog.  What the heck is a training collar? That was what I was working really hard to figure out…and I finally discovered what that is…

Basically what it is is a device that you use to get your dog trained with deterrent, YOu can use a shock collar….pain? or you can use a citronella dog collar.  I dunno about you, but Im thiking taht the dog collar with electricityis inhumane. So, I am going to work with a spray collar. (more…)

The last post got me thinking, and I really want to consider getting a pet, actually a small puppy to have at home. The thing is I haven’t really discussed it with Donna, but Im sure she will be okay with it..or at lease I assume she will be.

Dog training is something that I will have to figure out if it makes sense, but eigher way, we’ll see.

Here are some of the thigns I neeed to think about and be aware of before I spend on something likethis…

Puppies and dogs are such caring and loving beings; their biggest goal is to make you, their master, happy. By nature puppies want to do what you want them to do. The biggest problem with this is the communication barrier. Dogs can not speak nor can they understand our spoken language. However, through body language, observation, our attitude, and the sounds we make (or words) he will begin to understand what it is we want him to do.

Now a days everyone loves to have cute little pets at their homes and hence we see a developing trend of small designer dogs.

The other day, Kelly and I were out shopping, and we came up across a really cute puppy. The puppy was just so cute and fluffy that we fell in love with it right away. You wont or can’t emagine wathat beautiful and duddly little dog it was.

ONe of the things we do concern ourself with though is pet care, and pet sitting. If we were do get a nice cute little cuddly puppy, what would we do wabout it when we needed to go out on vacation?  Worse yet, we need to considre things like dog training, and how we would get all that taken care of.

One thing people tell me about is citronella dog collars. Have anyone or any of you heard of taht? Im not sure if it makes sense, but I’ll look into it.
